Sorting 1944 by month, Jan-Jul. There are envelopes marked “free mail”, “air mail”, “sick bay”, and a couple of envelopes embossed with “US Naval Air Station Hutchinson Kansas”. Some are stamped “passed by naval censor” and initialed. I love how just the envelopes have stories to tell!
